Can I enter Vietnam before the granted arrival date, or exit Vietnam after the granted departure date in my approval letter?

No, you can’t enter Vietnam before the issues date have been approved on the letter, you will allow to enter by the date of issues or after that date.
The arrival and departure dates cannot be changed. In case, you want to enter Vietnam earlier than the date on your approval letter, you have to apply for new letter of arrival. Besides, if you wish to stay in Vietnam later than the date in your approval letter, you have to apply for Vietnam visa extension while staying in Vietnam
Vietnam visa on arrival is a legal document approved by the Department of Immigration that permit foreigners can enter or exit Vietnam in a given period of time.
Stamping fee is one kind of visa fees that you have to pay at the immigration counter at Vietnamese international airports. After paying the stamping fee, you can get official visa stamped in your passport. The stamping fee must be in cash (VND or US dollars).
Before applying Vietnam visa on arrival, you have to check the following information:
• Your passport must have at least 6 month’s validity and blank pages left.
• You enter Vietnam by air only.
Normally, it takes 2 working days for you to receive the visa approval letter. If you are in the emergency cases or being stuck at the Vietnam international with some unwanted reasons, your approval letter is sending within 2hours, even after 15 minutes.
